Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
This page explains what cookies we use on OCR Start, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember information between visits or requests. Some are required for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used.
These cookies are required for authentication and security. They include: a session cookie that remembers your language preference (PARAGLIDE_LOCALE), a session token issued by our auth provider (BETTER_AUTH), and a CSRF token used to protect forms.
We use Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies. It does not require consent.
Stripe (payment processing), Google OAuth (sign-in), and PaddleOCR (OCR processing) may set their own cookies when you interact with those features. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.
You can disable or remove cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling essential cookies will prevent sign-in and checkout from working.
